Three new filters aim for a interesting variety of tones: green for Allied vehicles, grey for German vehicles and white for winter vehicles. Our two new pigments allow modellers to achieve the best natural effects over a green base and a fantastic and bright tone that will make metal parts come to life.

Pigments

Bright Iron

For many years, increasing and achieve color variation to metal parts was a nightmare. Now, those times are over. MIG Productions has an answer and a solution for that question. This new pigment color is the ideal approach to increase the bright and color variation in natural metal parts. No matter if is a metal chain cloth from the Medieval Age, a German tank track in WW2 or a sci-fi model. This new color will turn your metal parts ultra realistic.

The pigment is ultra fine and ultra bright. All you have to do is just rubber the product, with your finger, over the metal parts and you will see your model come to life!

Faded Bronze Green

The MIG Productions pigments range, with their carefully studied formulation of great quality and fineness, allows modellers to increase aging, effects and volume possibilities over a model easily. They can obtain these effects with thin layers or accumulations. This faded green tone is specially useful for Allied vehicles and green camouflages. The modeller can improve aging and natural effects on his model.

Filters

Green for Khaki Green

A new green tone that will add an attractive chromatic effect to every Allied vehicle with a green tone base, English and Russian vehicles specially. The modeller can achieve a large range of final effects: applying different layers or a subtle patina over the base.

Neutral Grey for Panzer Grey

We can modify the grey base applied over German vehicles with this new filter. We can add an interesting tone and achieve great variations even over modulated bases.

Brown Dirt for White Camo

The white colored base for winter camouflage is always a little challenge for modellers. MIG Productions increases its filters range. This new filter helps the modeller to add a subtle dirt effects and other great weathering effects.

Further to MIG productions commitment to producing interesting conversions with the modern armour modeller in mind we release this latest conversion set for the updated Iraqi early model T-62.

The Iraqi army under Saddam Hussein procured and used many hundreds of T-62′s used initially during the eight year long Iran-Iraq  war and later in their short lived invasion of Kuwait in 1991. Where in the face of massive allied air superiority  the dug in Iraqi tanks of Republican guard units were turned into cinder boxes and those few who survived the onslaught were hauled off to collection points to be examined by the curious allies who had vanquished their opponents in this one sided encounter.

It was in this latter conflict that the Iraqi forces were to lose thousands of main battle tanks including this updated early T-62 variant which utilised a T-55 machine gun cupola mounted over the flat loaders hatch and armed with a Chinese copy of the DSHK 12.7 mm AA gun, a set of Chinese style saw tooth side skirts, a pair of late model track tensioners and a modern T-62 m side stowage zip box. Included in this conversion kit is a set of T-62 side fuel cells and fuel cell connectors.

P045 Faded Corsair Blue

Faded Corsair Blue will enhance the tones on a variety of vehicles containing blue and gray finishes. Some examples include aircraft, automobiles, railroad cars and even camouflages used on British, German and Japanese armor during World War Two.

P046 Old Aluminum

Aluminum is an alloy used extensively by most countries for the constructing of aircraft, cars and armor. This pigment color when brushed over aluminum finishes will result in a less-glossy weathered appearance. Old Aluminum will help to add a feeling of authenticity to knocked-out modern AFVs, aircraft of all eras, railroad cars and automobiles.

P047 Dark Granit

Dark Granit can be used to add more tones on dioramas and vignettes containing lots of rock such as railway yards and ocean shore settings. This pigment can also be used as another earth tone.

1/35th Scale Medic 82nd Ariborne Division

The Medic 82nd Airborne Division is our new 1/35 figure. This American Division was created in 1971 and it had an important role in Europe during the IIWW. That moment inspired Wim van Hool, master’s author, to create this figure from the Medical Services. Its relaxed posture could mean a dead time on the front. You can add a realistic aspect to your diorama or vignette about this subject with this figure. Diego J. Jimenez Molina painting locates the figure on the Sicilian Campaign in 1943.

Damaged Modern Pickup Hilux 1/35 “Veteran Warrior”

The common pick-up truck has became a standard vehicle used for carrying weapons in most conflicts happening today throughout the Middle East and Africa. Pick-up trucks are ideal for armies lacking funds because they are light, cheap and fast.  These vehicles have been used to mount all types of weapons ranging from various machine guns to anti-aircraft rocket launchers originally designed for helicopters.

MIG Productions has been offering a range of Hilux versions for some time now. Our latest release is our most ambitious to date. This new kit contains all types of scrapes, dents, tape, blistered rust and other types of scars that quickly accumulate on these civilian soft-skin vehicles in combat. Other effects include busted headlights, a swapped passenger’s side door and broken windows replaced with wood. Also included are a roof rack, spare tire, Russian 50 caliber DShK machine gun and mount and ammo boxes to add further authenticity to this veteran vehicle.

Our colaborators referred to our new Hilux as a paradise for weathering effects. Our aim is to boost the creativity of the modeler with this unique kit. No two will ever be finished looking the same. The effects are already there and you just need to add paint. The cover of the box contains a fine example by the well known modeler José Brito to get your imagination flowing.

Pacific Sherman Field Armor Upgrade

The American M4 Sherman tank is without a doubt one of the most important tanks of the Second World War. Many of these reliable AFVs were distributed throughout the various allied countries in every theater of the Second World War including the British, Soviet, Chinese and French. The M4 Sherman tanks used in the Pacific theater of operations have always been among the most popular due to some of the odd field modifications applied to them by the Americans. Our Pacific Sherman Field Armor Upgrade accurately represents one of these unique field modifications.

Our kit includes detailed resin pieces depicting parts that were cut from another knocked out Sherman. Resin M-5 T36E6 late type tracks used to up-arm the turret are also enclosed. Our kit also comes with a photo-etched fret containing additional details such as the rear upper hull stand-off armor. This photo-etch set also contains a stencil that reads, “The 392nd Avenger” allowing the modeler to quickly and accurately airbrush this unique slogan onto each side of the model.

Wood Ageing Solution

The Wood Ageing Solution is an oil type mix that will quickly add a rustic weathered shadowed appearance to most wood details on your scale model, diorama or vignette. This solution is also great for tool handles on all types of AFV models.

Deep Green Wash

This wash is specifically designed to be used on most types of models representing vehicles deployed throughout the Second World War and today containing a green finish. Some of these green finishes include Russian Green and olive drab along with all other types of greens used by various countries around the world such as Germany, Japan and England.

Warm White Wash

Our Warm White wash is ideal for vehicles with faded winter camouflages seen during the early spring for example. This wash will also add a warm tone to white UN vehicles. Our Warm White wash is also very good for dioramas and vignettes containing lots of melting snow and mud.

Earth Tone Wash

The Earth Tone Wash is designed to work as a good base for applying pigments adding another layer to your earth tones. You should apply this wash mostly onto the areas of the model where most of the earth tones will be. Our Earth Tone Wash is also a quick solution for obtaining a slight dusted appearance on any type of model. Copper Oxide Blue (Patina)

Copper Oxide Blue (Patina) has been designed to help weather and age copper structures ranging from cathedrals to weathervanes and most other copper items. Copper Oxide Blue can also be used for dry-brushing and hi-lighting details on Panzer grey along with other like-colored vehicles and details.

Faded Camouflage Maroon

Faded Camouflage Maroon is a good color for fading red brown and all other like-colors. Maroon type colors were used by the German, British and Japanese armies to name a few. Faded Camouflage Maroon can also be used for obtaining different tones on bricks and primer red finishes.

Taliban T-62 M1 Conversion set for Trumpeter Kit, 1/35th scale. MP 35372

In keeping with MIG productions commitment to create a range of interesting and exciting conversion sets with the modern armor modeler in mind. We have released our latest Taliban T-62 M1 conversion set for use with Trumpeter’s T-62 M72 kit. This conversion allows the modeler to produce a late model T-62 as deployed to Afghanistan at the high tide of the Soviet Union and represents a version left behind by the Russians for their Afghan allies. A number of these T-62s fell into the hands of Mujahedeen and Taliban forces. This kit includes lower hull and bow armor sections, BDD, or horse shoe armor, positioned onto the front left and right sides of the turret, a KTD 2 laser range finder and its connection housing and an IK 13 sighting system. While the turret is unique in having lead laminate sections attached as protection from gama radiation caused by nuclear bomb explosions. Also included are accurate scale plumbing connections and T72 style tow hooks.

New 2011 Catalogue

The modeler will not need to perform the tedious task of carefully cutting the brass parts from the frame. This revolutionary photo-etch comes attached to an adhesive backing. The modeler will simply need to peel the brass pieces from the backing as they are needed. Peeling the delicate etched pieces from the adhesive backing will decrease required time needed for cleaning and reduce damage to the parts more then if the modeler were required to cut them away like with conventional photo-etched sets.
